‘Facebook Lite’ Android App Launched, Size: 252KB (APK)

Many of us have uninstalled the bulky Facebook Android app just because of its huge app data size. The enormous app used to run in the background hogging data and memory, slowing down other apps.
Then Facebook released yet another app – The Facebook Messenger. Which it forced on us by denying access to Facebook messages unless Messenger was installed.
But finally they did do something incredible. (well sort of)
Facebook has launched a Lite version of their popular Facebook Android App. The Lite app weighs just 252KB while the main App sits at ~27MB.

The Facebook Lite app looks a lot like the Facebook mobile view wrapped into an App. But with Notifications and one click access.
